When you replace a furnace, you’re not just buying a box with a flame in it. You’re buying comfort on the coldest night of the year, quieter operation, lower gas bills, and the peace of mind that it’s been installed safely and to code.
At Peak Comfort HVAC, we keep our furnace lineup simple on purpose. We primarily install high-efficiency Amana furnaces in a few carefully chosen series, sized properly for your home and ductwork. Every install follows Ontario gas code and manufacturer specs, with full commissioning and clear communication from start to finish.
These are the main Amana series we standardize on for Ottawa installs. We also have even more budget-friendly options available; we just prefer to talk through those on site so the trade-offs are clear.
We don’t expect you to choose a model number off a website and hope for the best. During an in-home visit we look at:
From there, we narrow it down to one or two good options and walk you through the pros, trade-offs, and pricing. No scare tactics, no pressure to over-buy – just clear options.
Q1: Do you have more budget-friendly options?
Yes. We keep our public lineup focused on the models we think offer the best long-term value, but we do have more budget-conscious options available. If you’re working within a strict budget or planning to sell in the near future, we can walk you through those choices during an estimate and explain the trade-offs clearly.
Q2: Can you install other brands?
In most cases, yes – especially if you already have a brand in mind or you’re matching another quote. That said, we standardize on Amana for a reason: good support, strong warranties, and a lineup that fits Ottawa homes well. Sticking to a tight brand list also helps us service and support you faster down the road.
Q3: What if my ductwork isn’t great?
We see a lot of under-sized or hacked ductwork in Ottawa. If your duct system can’t support the furnace you want safely and comfortably, we’ll tell you that upfront and talk about options – from small corrections to more involved duct improvements. We’d rather lose the job than install a system that can’t perform properly.
Q4: How do I get a proper quote?
Click the button below to book a furnace estimate. We’ll come out, look at your current setup, confirm sizing, and give you clear options and pricing – including any maintenance or protection plan options if you’re interested.
Whether you already have a model in mind or you just know the old one is on its last legs, we’ll help you sort through the options and land on something that actually makes sense for your home.
