The 5MXM48AVJU9 is a Daikin regular (standard) multi-zone outdoor heat pump designed to connect to up to five indoor units. It’s the “max flexibility” option in this standard multi lineup — one condenser supporting a full set of zones across a home.
This model is best when you truly need five separate comfort zones — for example: a main living area, multiple bedrooms with different temperature preferences, a basement, and a bonus room that never balances well. It can also be a great solution for homes where you want to avoid ductwork changes, but you still want full-room control and a clean outdoor look.
With five zones, we’re extra disciplined:
